Cornell Lab of Ornithology Visitor Center Redesign

Our Places: Connecting People in Nature

Monique joined the CLO Visitor Center redesign team working alongside Dr. Mya Thompson, Lisa Kopp, Chelsea Benson, Sarah Wagner, Richard McElhiney Architects LLC and C&G Partners. She contributed to the physical redesign of the building. She and will assist in the designing of new exhibits and update established programming to enhance learning amongst current and newly expanded audiences.


The Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History reached out to Monique Pipkin and co-author Amelia-Juliette Demery to contribute an educational panel about field safety for a temporary exhibit. Visit the exhibit, open from July 2022 - July 2024.

What can we learn about stress from birds?

Explore how the stress response evolves, and how the evolutionary history of humans may hold the key to understanding why we respond to stress in the ways that we do.

This animated video is based on research by Cornell University professor Maren Vitousek and her lab and funded by the National Science Foundation. Monique Pipkin co-wrote and narrated this animation.
